Wonderful Event! from John D Carrion, 04/06/14
We all really enjoyed this experience but were dismayed that the programmes were sold out 20 minutes before it started and that the paper to submit questions were gone before we had any chance to submit one. It seemed to be done on the cheap and for £80 per ticket, it was really not well received.

Shame about the military police! from Sas, 02/06/14
She was great, but a real atmosphere spoiler to have swarms of staff being so aggressive for the final number.

    Fantastic Evening! from Maureen, 02/06/14
First time to visit Hammersmith Apollo, great venue! Saw Julie at the O2 four years ago but An Evening With Julie Andrews was unforgettable. I have been a fan of hers since I was a child (Im now 68). Excellent film clips from her long career, followed by an interesting talk given by Julie. The highlight of the evening came after the interval which was a chat with Aled Jones based on a few questions previously submitted by the audience. Aled is excellent at this, and Julie was very entertaining. There were some funny clips from Blake Edwards Pink Panther (her late husband). At the end we all joined in singing Edelweiss. Julie will be 78 later this year, but looks and acts far younger. She is still writing childrens books (32 to date) with her daughter Emma. Just to be in the same place as Julie Andrews was a privilege! A brilliant evening!
