The arena is part of Braehead Shopping Centre. The shopping centre has over 100 stores and a host of leisure facilities to keep all the whole family happy. The centre offers ice skating, curling and a selection of restaurants. Next door to the shopping centre is Xscape, an adventure and leisure complex just next door and a retail park including IKEA. Xscape is home to a variety of restaurants, shops, a cinema, crazy golf, a climbing wall and Scotland’s largest indoor ski slope to name just a few of their facilities.

Braehead has its own dedicated bus station and travel information centre. In fact over 820 buses pass through here every day. There are direct services from many locations including Glasgow city centre, Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine and Glasgow Airport.

If you are coming by coach, then we also have our own dedicated coach park next to the bus station. Please contact the arena if you are arriving with a coach party as some events have specific coach drop off points.
Our nearest railway station is Paisley Gilmour Street. From there, you can catch one of the many regular buses to Braehead. If you are traveling through Glasgow city centre, then it is best to catch a bus from the city centre.
The closest underground stop to Braehead is Govan, from where there are frequent buses. The journey time is around 12 minutes.

The First Bus 747 service offers a direct link from Glasgow Airport to Braehead and Xscape. It runs every 30 minutes for most of the day and the journey time to Braehead is around 15 minutes. For timetable details, please use our Braehead journey planner.

Braehead is only a mile away from Renfrew town centre and can easily be reached on foot, either by using the newly upgraded Kings Inch Road, or the riverside walkway. This extends from our boardwalk to the Renfrew Ferry.
Braehead Arena can easily be reached by road from the whole of central Scotland and beyond.
The venue has over 6500 dedicated FREE parking spaces. We are based at junction 26 (eastbound) and junction 25a (westbound) of Glasgow's M8 motorway.
