Lee Evans - Monsters. Buy Lee Evans tickets now at Eventim

Lee Evans, who broke the Guinness World Record for a solo act performing to the biggest comedy audience at the Manchester Arena in 2005, will be performing brand new material as part of one of his biggest tours to date.

Lee’s manic energy, uncanny observations, hilarious delivery and side-splitting material have made his live performances a must-see for comedy fans worldwide. Lee Evans tours and DVD releases year-on-year continue to smash sales and box office records. From 2002 to 2011 alone he has performed to over 1,605,000 people through his four live arena shows.

Lee Evans has won many accolades in the comedy world including ‘Special Contribution To Comedy’ Award at The British Comedy Awards 2011, the highly coveted ‘Perrier Award’ and the Time Out Award for Comedy. He has experienced huge success as an international film star in The Martins (2001), There’s Something About Mary (1998), The Fifth Element (1997), Mouse Hunt (1998)and Funny Bones (1995). In addition to his film work, Lee Evans has also appeared on BBC ONE in his own sitcom series Lee Evans- So What Now? and appeared in the 2009 Doctor Who Easter special (BBC ONE), where he played an evil Welsh scientist, again to much critical acclaim.

Genius from Simon & Karen Farr, 26/10/14
We ordered our tickets for this tour nearly a year ago and patiently sat in growing anticipation, it was well worth the wait. Lee Evans is undoubtably the funniest man on the planet, the way he interacts with the audience and even sarcastically apologises for some of his more risqué jokes makes you feel like he is talking to you personally. There is not a comedian alive who can make you smile by his sheer presence from walking onto a stage. As if the comedy is not enough, the interaction (long after the performance finishes) with the fans by signing autographs and taking photographs as well as the genuine humility each time we applauded has to be admired, words do not do this man justice.

    Boring! from Tee, 20/10/14
I used to love Lee evans and his material but this show only gave me a few smiles, far too much emphasis on sexual material. Not enough actual funny jokes, he stole the skipping bit from Michael Mcintyre. Was a waste of money. Just wate and see him on TV.

Love this man! from Janjew, 20/10/14
I had booked tickets for my daughter to go and see him for her birthday (which was in May) and 6 months later we were not disappointed!! He is an amazing comedian and I would highly recommend everyone see him at least once if they can - live. His jokes are funny, his faux pas are funny and his little quirks are funny. The way he feels what his audience thinks is also brilliant, he knew when he was pushing the boundary a bit and apologised for it, saying it wouldnt be in the next performance. He had me crying, as usual at the silliest of things and I love him for that. There was no better tonic for me or my daughter after a long day and quite a stressful year. I would like to say that I especially like the way he thanks the audience and genuinely looks overwhelmed with emotion at the end of the performance. He spent a lot of time signing autographs & taking pictures with those in the front rows (shame I wasnt one of them!) I also like the way that he always mentions his wife with love and affection at the end. I wish them continued happiness for many more years to come. I have admired and enjoyed this man for many years and my children who are now almost all in their twenties have been weaned on his humour. I am so glad I decided to book the tickets and even happier that my daughter wanted to take me. There are too many times to mention what made me laugh or why, other than I hope he continues his career for many, many years. I know I will be booking to see him again when he has his next tour. I was seated in the Gods area of the arena and even though I had a mini heart attack and continued to have palpitations (I hate heights!!) when we were seated, it was worth it, although I must say on a small negative to the organisers - the big screens were not well placed for those who were seated to the side of the stage, they could have been angled better. Still, small niggle in an otherwise fantastic night. Thank you Mr Evans, for being one of the highlights of my otherwise uneventful life. Much love and gratitude.
