Selected reviews for this venue:
Black Star Riders (02/12/13) - Great show
A great setlist of old Thin Lizzy classics mixed with new Black Star Riders songs. The new songs held up really well against the Lizzy material. Ricky Warwick was brilliant at the front. Interesting to see Scott Gorham taking more of a backseat role on guitar. It almost felt like the Ricky Warwick Band - certainly not a Thin Lizzy remake, despite the old songs. Loved new intro to Cowboy Song. Enjoyed Emerald, Massacre, Jailbreak etc etc, but also All Hell Breaks Loose, Bound For Glory, Bloodshot and the superb Kingdom on the Lost. Great twin guitars as expected.
Saxon (07/05/13) - Well dissappointed
The sound quality at this gig was awfull! All 3 bands were really spoilt by the sound in the hall. I tried standing in several positions upstairs as well as down but the sound was dreadfull. Only the lead and rythem guitars in Saxon could be heard, no vocals and no bass at all! Very poor...
