The concert overall was fantastic and having seen Paolo in Blackpool a few years ago I have to say.....the boy done good! The whole concert was amazing, with a great backdrop and some really funky effects. Sounded as good as the album tracks and I lived the way he did a mashup of a few tracks from the first album. The venue sadly was a bit of a letdown. I have been to many concerts in this arena but it seemed particularly shabby this time and quite dirty with litter everywhere and a bit chaotic.
Agree with the person who commented on the acoustics as I couldnt tell what Paolo was saying.
Money needs to be spent on this venue but Paolo, as ever, was fantastic!

The concert was brill once Paolo came onto the stage.. The warm up act (Vault) however were pretty bad. I felt sorry for them as I feel they could be good but all you could hear was the bass. This reverberated and pretty much drowned everything else out.
Paolo Nutini was just sensational and to my great relief people remained seated throughout most of the concert. There is a whole floor where people can stand. For myself and anyone with a disability, that isnt obvious, making it impossible to stand through a concert seating is essential. Before people stand up in the seating areas they should think about who is sitting behind them before blocking their view. Just because someone isnt in a wheelchair doesnt mean they are not disabled. Luckily the girls in front of us did sit down once we asked, and I was so thankful for that. I would love nothing better than to be able to stand and be able to get right to the front but while perfectly able people can do this alas I cannot.
The concert was definitely a winner and I would go to see him again without a doubt. Paolo performed a good range of songs both old favourites and new songs from the latest album. I suppose I would have liked him to have been on a bit longer but hey, you cant always get what you want, as they say. Yes I know that was the Stones.
What would be really great is if he were to play some smaller venues outside of London. Yep too much to ask for I suppose.
In my view this man is mature beyond his years when it comes to writing and performing his songs. He is diverse in his style of music and his lyrics are often like pure poetry. Outstanding.
