As relevant today as 30 years ago Manchester Arena from Peter T, 25/09/13
I first saw Pink Floyd in 1969 in Newcastle (trying to record the live side of Ummagumma I think!). They were special then and this time Roger Waters (who I saw at the Manchester Arena some 6 years ago) does not disappoint, the graphics and film and animation have been updated to reflect modern conflicts and I suspect that this version of The Wall is closer to what Roger originally intended. The performance was very tight, the sound excellent most of the time. His band are brilliant, especially David Kilminster, GE Smith and Snowy White. The projection of the names of the fallen on the wall during the interval is a reminder of the anti war theme of the piece. Theres also the highly relevant point of the isolation of the famous from any reality most of us know and the insanity it can bring. Ive always thought that it was sad that the members of Pink Floyd were never able to resolve their differences and write and perform together again, but both Roger and David Gilmour have continued to do great things. The only downside was the cost of things like programmes (£20), for an anti capitalist like Waters it smacks of hypocrisy

Simply Amazing from Jimbo, 23/09/13
As an experienced gigger, Im often asked the question which is the best concert youve ever been to ? Its a question that Ive always found hard to answer as the answer can vary from week to week, that was until I witnessed The Wall ,this was quite simply jaw dropping, not just for the music, but for the entire show, it wasnt cheap at £75 a ticket but it was worth every penny, thanks Roger, from a Floyd fan of many years
