It would have been better if they had some music in the bar area before the show there was no atmosphere - next time I will go to the bar next door until it´s time to go to seats - they probably loose a lot of revenue because of this.
Squeeze (17/11/14) - Difford & Tillbrook - The at odds couple
I have seen Squeeze live several times (back in the day) and I am a big fan of their music - which obviously helps if you are going to a gig ! This At Odds couple tour is presented as a storytelling/question & answer session ... but dont be put off because it works ! Tillbrooks accoustic guitar solos were amazing and Diffords lyrics were still fresh in everyones memory - how is it I can remember every word to their songs but forget what I went upstairs for ? In sumary 10/10 a Fantastic gig made even better by getting the chance to meet them at the end of the show - just wish I had brought my LP´s with me to get them signed but I got a photo which I will treasure. I hope it´s not too long before they tour together again !!! x

Charles Ross (06/10/14) - One Man Lord of the Rings
Very good entertainment. An hour and a half rattle through the 3 Lord of the Rings books/films. All characters played by Charles Ross with some superb voices and plenty of jokes thrown in on the subtext. No props, just him and the telling of the stories in his own way, sticking to the plot but summarising and quoting it. We had children there, 9 and 12, it is suitable for children and adults and the children found it as funny as we did. There is an interval at the end of the performance and he then goes on to talk about himself and Q&A for as long as anyone wants and if you can be bothered to stay. I didnt think he could keep it entertaining for 90 minutes given that it is just him, no costumes etc but he did and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a laugh and likes the films/books, not just the trainspotters.

seating was too small, not enough leg room for an adult. we were in the front row of the grand circle. it was a great view but so uncomforatbale due to the space allocated for leg room
Rhys Darby (21/07/14) - Poor
Very disappointed. He was on for 5 mins then went off for 30 mins as a comedic singing double act came on which were dreadful. He then came back on to announce a 15 min interval. after the interval he came back on with bizarre and mostly unfunny stories. Total waste of money and not recommended
