Victoria Park is one of London’s most important historic parks and its oldest public park. It has been used by millions of Londoners for nearly 170 years as a place of healthy recreation, sports, play and relaxation.
The park is the largest in Tower Hamlets, and is bordered on its northern boundary by the London Borough of Hackney. It serves a large residential population in both boroughs and also attracts many tourists and visitors from outside of the borough. A wide range of formal and informal sports, sponsored activities, events and festivals take place throughout the year.
Victoria Park is a key link in a green corridor that stretches from the River Thames at Limehouse, along the Regents Canal and through Mile End Park. Beyond Victoria Park to the north and east is the Lee Valley Park, along with the newly emerging Olympic Park.
Work began on the refurbishment of the park in January 2011 and will be completed by April 2012.
Currently there are no events for the Victoria Park London .

Field Day (28/05/13) - Fantastic Field Day
With its typically star-studded line-up, only one thing could make Field Day better this year; the weather! With the sun shining, we managed to enjoy the field festival atmosphere minus the mud, and the layout made it easy to get from stage-to-stage all day. CHVRCHES were a real highlight, before Kurt Vile wowed the lucky few that chose to substitute Solange and Disclosure made sure the day ended as a real party (cant wait for their album to come out next week!). I had a great time and will definitely be going back next year!
