A must for any gamer. from Pabbles, 13/11/14
VGL is clearly a labor of love for Tommy Tallarico, and it shows in the amount of enthusiasm and work he and his performers and technical team put into the performances. The whole evening is a celebration of video games, and the composers who create their iconic scores. My wife thoroughly enjoyed this, and shes not even a gamer. (Her favorite number was Journey.) In fact, I was pretty surprised at how varied the crowd was. I saw a lot of people who I never would have imagined would have a passing interest in video game music (but thats probably just me fostering an archaic gamer stereotype). I guess I would say my only gripe is that Tommy sometimes spends a little too much time yappin between numbers, but I think that has more to do with the fact that hes enjoying himself. If my job was touring around the world performing the Legend of Zelda score with a full choir and orchestra, Id probably feel a little bit like a rock star up on stage too. If you get the chance, I definitely recommend checking out a VGL performance.

Great music and funny too! from Bill, 11/11/14
Attended not knowing fully what to expect. Well put together show with a fair amount of throw back game music for those of us who were playing 30+ years ago. The filler group, Random Encounter, were a lot of fun. Rockin accordion, who knew?

Video Games Live from James Stalley-Moores, 11/11/14
To start with, the event was great, five stars easily, the performances were fantastic, everything I had hoped for. Tommy and the orchestra were fantastic, and the video screens were good...when I could see them. You see, I booked seats on the Circle 11, Row F, 1 and 2, and as soon as we sat down it became apparent that we couldnt see the main screen, due to a massive speaker blocking it, now I booked the seats a while back, and its really tough picking a good spot, however no where did it indicate that the seating was low visibility. Video games are a visual medium and my partner and I were pretty miffed we couldnt see anything. Now its worth noting we spoke to an usher and found spare seats, but at £45 a pop, I am pretty disappointed the first 15 minutes of the performances were spoiled by the lack of visibility. Additionally the left hand spot light was nearly constantly pointed at our faces, and I had to mask the light with my hand, pretty disappointing. So good show, very poor seating and it almost ruined it for us.
