London Goes SA (04/08/14) - Great Artists!
Event was lovely, not enough advertising was done or hype created. Would suggest for an event like this to make it more of a cultural setup.. perhaps have it in an open area (such as the Milton Keynes bowl) with the main stage and all those great singers and with Afrikaans food stalls Potjie/Braaivleis etc around and maybe an additional tent for sokkie musiek etc. I believe many of the Saffas here fall into the mainstream life and music here and therefore a hype needs to be created to get every one excited for a real SA experience again. Seeing all those amazing artists at one event was super awesome but if you no longer familiar with them (which many are not) and others just there to sing along and listen to some great SA music then to have all the extras makes it that much more exciting and besides that all my friends from here would join too and can get more of a feel what SA is really about, unfortunately as awesome as the music was I dont think the music on its own could do it specially those who were unfamiliar to the Afrikaans tunes. For us few who did appreciate the cool music, was great too see the artists preform - So thank you very much Epollo Events & Kyknet
Modern venue with good visibility and great sound. Plenty of facilities for food and drink and well managed. Also easy to get there and park.
