Find a better live band if you can! from Longchops, 15/05/13
Watched them Monday 13th May at Manchester Academy and have to say I was completely blown away. Not a confirmed fan, though obviously aware of their chart success in the 80s, I was dragged along by a friend and fully expected a night watching a stage occupied by middle-aged men playing to an audience desperate to hang on to the remnants of their youth. A tad harsh I know but it was Monday and I had endured a terrible journey from Leeds, made all the worse by some old grandad riding around Manchester on a bus, playing havoc with the traffic. Its hard to define why I found the band so good but I think Mark Shaw may have hit on it in a recent interview, when he stated that the band realised what they had lost and were grateful to have the opportunity to play together again. Whatever the reason, the spark is definitely there. The combination of a very talented, tightly-knit band and a front man with both mercurial vocals and the energy to shape the atmosphere of the gig is the x-factor here. You dont need to know the songs and, like me, you may not think that they are the strongest tunes ever written. What is undeniable however is that they deliver on stage like few bands can. I wont run through the track-listing or try and pinpoint stellar moments but will simply say that I have seen many, many bands and artistes over the past 25 years but I cannot remember a live performance of such quality. Dont believe me? I wouldnt have either before the gig!

Please do it again!! from Judith Wilson, 01/10/12
What a fantastic night I had at Glasgow O2 Academy on 21st Sept 2012. Then Jerico sounded amazing, Marks voice is better than ever and he looks so fit!! The set list was great and every track sounded amazing. The impromptu A Quiet Place was fab! I was delighted more than I can ever describe to meet the guys outside, I waited for Mark to come out and was so glad I did. What a gorgeous man, so polite and happy to be hugged, kissed and photographed, signed autographs and chatted, only wish I could have stayed longer. Guys please please do it all again soon, your fans adore you. Thank you so much, excellent all round. Judith xxx
