One of the best live acts around from lozza, 17/03/11
His albums are good, technically, but lack the Oooomph of his live stuff. Just listen to Frampton Comes Alive, and then listen to a studio album from the same period. Saw him recently at Shepherds Bush, and he was in tip top form, brilliant playing, but bought the new album, Thank you Mr Churchill, and was disappointed with the lack of feel to it. Great songs, but no fizz, if you get what i mean, a bit like Steve Miller and others. The concert was great, with Peter on top form, brilliant playing, and good banter with the fans, as is his mark. Please dont judge him on his studio work, he's 10 times better live.
