Tutankhamun from Pam, 21/03/11

This was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this legendary pharoh and his treasures. The exhibits were amazing and the tomb settings replicated really well. Friends had told me that it was well worth seeing and they were not wrong!

Very enjoyable afternoon out with the family, my 11 year old son found it very entertaining and informative and had a great story to tell in school on Monday.

This is an interesting exhibition for those with an interest in Ancient Egypt and especially the life of Tutankhamun. From the perspective of somebody who has visited the tomb of Tutankhamun and seen the original relics in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, this is pretty tame stuff, but a pleasant day out.

Excellent exhibition! - the artefacts were great replicas, loads to see. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. But the audio guide is likely to be preferable at busy times as you can go around at your own pace. Unfortunately, my tour was at a busy time and many people were left standing whilst the short videos were screened. Lack of consideration was shown by those who constantly took photos (bodies & arms in the way) of the artefact that was being described by the tour guide.
