Event Info

With his new album out in April - and being met with rapturous praise from music critics - Tristan Mackay is a seriously hot ticket for 2015. Since he was famously discovered busking by Grammy Award-winning producer Martin Levan, this Devon-born singer songwriter has been quietly amassing a dedicated and passionate fan base.

Tristan’s first studio album, Out Along the Wire topped the iTunes Blues chart in 2012 and received acclaim from the music press. His carefully crafted follow-up album Wire & Wood, due out in April, is already receiving effusive praise and early airplay from Radio 2, hailing it as ‘brilliant and beautiful.’

Drawing inspiration from blues, folk and soul music Tristan has been compared to Jeff Buckley, John Mayer and Eric Clapton within the industry.

Tristan has toured and guested extensively as support for Beth Hart, Rumer, Billy Bragg, The Proclaimers, Steve Harley, Robben Ford and Eric Johnson among others.

Do not miss the chance to see him live in intimate venues while you still can in June, on his first headline tour since 2012.

‘Easily able to captivate any music lover...he left the audience trembling.’ Classic Rock presents Blues Magazine

‘Absolutely brilliant...stunning’
Jon Holmes, BBC Radio 2

‘Forget busking, he’s chart busting’
The Sun

‘The record oozes beauty... a singer-songwriter who has surely paved his way to lifelong success.’
Maverick Magazine

‘A touch of class from Devon’s aspiring Eric Clapton.’
