Event Info

Motown masters The Four Tops and The Temptations will be heading on tour in October 2016 along with special guests Tavares.

The Four Tops are known as being one of the main artists to help define the Motown era in the 1960’s, with hits including ‘I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)’ and ‘Reach Out I’ll Be There’.

The Temptations are famed for their classics ‘My Girl’ and ‘Papa Was a Rolling Stone’. While the line-up has changed over the many years, original member Otis Williams will be joining the tour in October.

Special guests Tavares will be performing a number of their hit tracks including 'More Than A Woman', 'Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel', 'It Only Takes A Minute' and 'Don't Take Away The Music'.

Great event from Carol 61, 01/04/14
Great line up. Freda Payne, Platters, Temptations and Four Tops. Good selection of songs. Well entertained.

    excellent evening from Lynne, 31/03/14
Loved the show. Enjoyed singing along. It brought back a lot of memories. I was a bit disappointed with the Four Tops as I didnt know many of the songs they sang. As the end of show, top of the bill, I felt it should have had more of an impact. I heard quite a few of the same comments on the way out of the arena.

Amazing music and memories from Lynny, 24/03/14
The event was overall very enjoyable. Freda Payne looked amazing ! The Platters sounded incredible. The Temptations were as good as they have always been and really got the party started. The Four Tops just didnt do it for me, and I have loved them for 40 years - Duke Fakir was a bit of a sad figure, no disrespect to his amazing talent. They just dont sound like they did with Levi - and the performance was a disappointment. Maybe the Temptations should close the show.
