Yankovic is no stranger to the stage and with over 30 years of musical experience behind him, the tour follows the 2014 release of his latest no. 1 album, ‘Mandatory Fun’, which was the first comedy album in over 50 years to reach the top of the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart.
To date Yankovic has won three GRAMMY Awards and been nominated a staggering 15 times for his hits which include the hilarious ‘Eat It’, ‘Like a Surgeon’, ‘Smells Like Nirvana’ and ‘Amish Paradise’. New parodies on ‘Mandatory Fun’ include ‘Handy’ (Iggy Azalea’s ‘Fancy’), ‘Foil’ (Lorde’s ‘Royals’), ‘Word Crimes’ (Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’) and ‘Tacky’ (Pharrell’s ‘Happy’).
If you can’t wait until October to see Yankovic perform in London, you can catch him on Netflix’s brand new series, ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp’ alongside Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd.
