Event Info

Texan country music trio, Dixie Chicks, will be making their first ever appearance at Manchester Arena next April.

The GRAMMY Award-winning band which consists of singer Natalie Maines, guitarist Emily Robison and fiddle player Martie Maguire, was formed in 1989 and has become one of the biggest selling country groups in the United States.

Dixie Chicks shot to fame in 1997 when their single I Can Love You Better entered the Top 10 on American country music charts, and the rest, as they say, was history. Their 2016 spring tour celebrates the band’s seventh studio album, Taking The Long Way, which saw them collaborate with legendary producer Rick Rubin, who has worked with everyone from Johnny Cash to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Support comes from Augustana.
