Event Info

Yorkshire hero Josh Warrington returns to the first direct arena in Leeds on Saturday 13 May where he will make the third defence of his WBC International Featherweight belt.

‘The Leeds Warrior’ is itching to get back under the lights after a lengthy layoff and is promising to make a statement in May before targeting a summer blockbuster clash with IBF Featherweight Champion Lee Selby at Elland Road.

On the same bill, women’s boxing icon Nicola Adams OBE makes her long-awaited Leeds homecoming. The double Olympic Gold Medallist is aiming to emulate her hero Muhammad Ali by winning a World title in 2018.

    1) Tickets arrived v.quickly 2) No one at Eventim could tell me what time it started or the time it was scheduled to finish! 3) The map on the website for directions was unreadable and therefore useless. Try not just dumping soen a pdf in fuuture - do some checks! overall score 3/5

    Campionship Boxing from Ron, 24/09/13
On arriving and trying to fine the correct entrance for my seat, I had to ask 3 people before I was told I should be downstairs. Then going through security I was frisked and as I had a bottle of water in my pocket, it was snatched out of my pocket and just tossed into a bin, and said no water. Without asking if I needed it, or if I wanted any before I entered the stadium. No respect was shown to me by this man at all. I then had to ask at least another 6 people for direction to my seat before someone did manage to find it. The staff had no idea of the layout of the arena. Also the seat were very uncomfortable to sit in for about 6 hrs if you stayed for all fights. The boxing was very good and I enjoyed it very much.
