Formed in 2000, Busted have had four number one songs in the UK Singles Chart and released two albums, ‘Busted’ and ‘A Present for Everyone’, both of which made it to the second spot in the UK Album Charts. In total they’ve sold an amazing five million records.
In 2004 they were awarded the BRIT Awards for Pop Act and British Breakthrough Act, with the group also breaking records that year with an incredible 12 sold out shows at Wembley Arena.
While announcing their surprise reunion on Tuesday 10th November 2015, the boys also confirmed that they were working on new music for the first time since 2004, which fans will no doubt be treated to during their 2016 tour.
Speaking about the tour, Matt Willis said: “For me, there’s a huge sense of unfinished business … I always thought in my heart we’d do Busted again, but that it was just a matter of when and how.”
Busted will be joined by Wheatus and Emma Blackery for the Pigs Can Fly Tour.
