Event Info

Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne has announced a June 2017 full band tour in Ireland, Scotland and England. The tour starts on June 12 at Vicar Street in Dublin, Ireland for four nights, and includes a Royal Albert Hall show in London, England.

Accompanying Jackson on the road this June are his longtime bandmates Val McCallum (guitar), Mauricio Lewak (Drums), Jeff Young (keyboards), Bob Glaub (bass), Alethea Mills (Vocals) and acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz (guitar, lap steel, pedal steel).

“This is my ideal band, with some of my favorite players, whose combined gifts provide the musical foundation and emotional underpinnings of my new songs,” says Jackson. “The interplay between Val McCallum and Greg Leisz – the effortlessness of their chemistry is a gift really, that just dropped into my lap. I feel fortunate to have them out on the road for this tour.”

    The band worked hard to deliver an accomplished set of old and new songs. Jackson Browne sometimes appeared slightly tired at a couple of points, for example when repeated calls for old material were made and he wanted to play the new album. However it was a memorable night of over 3 hours of music. After seeing him perform both solo and with bands this was one of the best times. I will see him again.
