The tracks have been mixed by Will Brierre in Los Angeles at the Ballroom Studios who works alongside the very talented Mark Needham, mixer for the likes of The Killers, Chris Isaack, Fleetwood Mac (to name but a few).
Chris has been locked in the studio in LA with writer/producer Jarvis Anderson for the past few months and the songs they have co-written are Stupendous, With the release of Chris’s debut solo track ‘MFT80s’ and all the press attention the new music has received, more new music will follow this year.
Born in the UK (Southend Essex) aged 23, you may have already caught Chris in his previous USA based band, Hollywood Ending.
They supported the Janoskians around Europe and McBusted on their UK national spring 2014 tour.
Chris is the younger brother of Busted legend James Bourne, supporting McBusted on their spring 2014 tour gave Chris the taste for arenas, "Even sound checking before the show was awesome at the arenas" grins Chris.
I was thinking "Let’s come back and headline here one day".
Chris shadowed all the recent Busted Tour dates, May 11th - June 4th 2016 around the UK and Ireland.
His brand new single MFT80s was featured on the big screens at every arena. Chris now has some exclusive one off live dates which will see him playing 4 venues across the UK this October in some of the major cities, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
Writing is a major force in his life and Chris has already co-written the song ‘Daylight’ with Steve Robson and James Bourne, recorded by 5 Seconds Of Summer for the EP ‘Amnesia’.
This followed with him building a separate writing/recording studio at home in Southend which always has a steady stream of writers and artists stopping by, alongside his constant back and forth to the USA co-writing on a number of projects (and of course finding time to catch the waves) Final thought from surfer boy Chris ”I just wanna play shows, live on the beach and write songs”
