    Fantastic,memorable night from Nick Coates, 22/04/13
    It was so good to see Michael back to his best and obviously loving what he's doing.The band also were excellent and they played everything the fans wanted to hear.Superb night and i'll definitely go and see him again.The best moment was of course the incredible guitar solo on Rock Bottom. His rapore with the fans was good to see as well high fiving everyone he could.

    Having never seen Michael Schenker live before but listened to Strangers in the Night since it was released back in the 80s, I was speechless to hear one of the great masters of heavy rock guitar perform as if he were miming. The replication of all his tracks from UFO to the Scorpions to MSG with enough subtle licks to prove that it was live was something to be believed. The venue was fantastic and reminded me very much of a smaller version of the old Glasgow Apollo where I used to frequent as a teenager. The support band Exit State were a good warm up act also.

    Phenomenal show at HMV Ritz in Manchester on 10/5/12 with Francis Buscholtz and Herman Rarebell stepping out of the shadows the initial feeling was one of trepedation as I wondered if too much time had passed and this was mereley going to be an old pals act..

    What I got was a resounding display of why the Scorpions had sold multi-platinum in the 80s. Not only the Scorpians but MSG UFO and even new material featuring Doogie White in impressive form handling all material with a confident display in the art of the frontman Wayne Findlay. I was really impressed with his instrumental dexterity, not only handling backing vocals, rhthym guitar and keyboards - he peeled off some blistering Mathias Jabs runs in convincing style on the Lovedrive era material which brought a huge smile to my face.

    Schenker himself cut a dashing figure looking to be in great physical shape and seemed to be enjoying himself immensley when the smoke cleared and the lights came up the genral consensus that the Temple Of Rock was the best night of rock n roll I've attended in 2012. As an added bonus the lads were all willing and amiable to sign autographs after the show - what more do you want?
