Fairfield Hall is an arts centre in Croydon, London, England and opened in 1962. It contains a concert hall, the Ashcroft Theatre (named after local Peggy Ashcroft), the Arnhem Gallery civic hall (Croydon is twinned with Arnhem) and an art gallery.
The large concert hall is frequently used for BBC recordings. The Halls are the home of the London Mozart Players. Many famous faces have appeared at the Fairfield Halls, including Traffic (who recorded a live album in the halls), Family (who recorded the first side of their album, Anyway, in the halls) and The Nice (who recorded their album, Five Bridges, in the halls).

I felt sorry for the people who came in after the interval. They missed so much! Absolutely brilliant, forgot how many songs they have not only written for other people, but recorded themselves. Everyone was up on their feet by the end of the evening.

The Tramlink stops at East Croydon, George Street and Wellesley Road are all 3 minutes walk away.
East Croydon station is a 3 minute walk away and West Croydon station is about a 12 minute walk.
A large multi-storey car park, operated by NCP, is at the back of Fairfield and accessed from Barclay Road.

There are specific wheelchair spaces in both the Concert Hall and Ashcroft Theatre together with an adjacent companion’s seat Please do not book for these seats over the Internet. The Concert Hall & Ashcroft Theatre have infra-red hearing systems. Headsets & loops can be collected from the Box Office (subject to availability). Certain performances are also signed (call 020 8688 9291 for details).
Visually Impaired Customers
If you have a guide dog then please make your booking by phone and we will ensure that your seat is convenient for you and your dog. Please do not book for these seats over the internet. Both of our lifts have Braille buttons and printed material is available in large print versions.
Unfortunately we can no longer accept pre-booking of parking spaces for Blue-Badge holders. Blue-Badge holders are asked to arrive at the forecourt as early as possible before performances. Parking space is limited and parking will be allocated on a first come-first served basis. Please note that there will be a small charge for this service.
