The Jazz Cafe was opened in December 1990 after being converted from the Camden Town Barclays Bank branch. It originally ran along the lines of Ronnie Scott's with seven nights a week live Jazz music. After the original owner's went into receivership the venue was bought by the Mean Fiddler and re-positioned as a Jazz, Soul, Funk, World, Dance and Hip Hop venue.
Jazz Cafe takes the needs of disabled customers very seriously and actively encourages people of all abilities to attend the events scheduled at the venue.
We advise patrons to go ahead and buy their ticket first either via this website or by calling 0207 688 8899. In order to ensure that all disabled patrons to Jazz Cafe are adequately catered for, we request that you contact the venue at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone on 0207 688 8899 and let us know which show you have purchased a ticket for. Due to Licensing and Health & Safety Assessments, we regret the number of wheelchairs that we can admit to the building is limited and we must treat all patrons on a first come first served basis. In the unlikely event that the wheelchair quota is filled by the time we receive your email then we would inform you of this and either a refund or an exchange for an appropriate alternative event would be given.
