Situated in the heart of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, St David's Hall is the National Concert Hall and Conference Centre of Wales. With its wide range of live entertainment, free exhibitions, conferences, participation workshops, two bars and a range of places to eat, helpful staff and relaxing surroundings, St David's Hall is a building to be enjoyed by day and evening throughout the year.

Home to the annual Welsh Proms Cardiff, the world-class Orchestral Concert Series featuring the world's top orchestras, soloists and conductors and the famous bi-annual BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition, St David's Hall presents a multitude of live entertainment, including pop, rock, folk, jazz, rhythm and blues, comedy, children's shows, lunchtime concerts, musicals, light entertainment, dance, world music, films and classical music.

However, St David's Hall is more than just a concert hall, with spacious foyers, lounge bars and a restaurant it is also a place to meet for coffee, lunch or a celebratory meal. Add in regular exhibitions and annual company conferences, and there really is something going on almost every day of the year.

Parking

The St David's2 shopping centre car park is now open and operates 24 hours a day. Pedestrian exits from this car park will be directly onto the Hayes. Parking rates for this car park from 5:00pm onwards is a fixed £2.00 fee .

Car Parking

Sitting above the St David's2 centre is a 2,000 space contemporary 24-hour car parking facility, which for shoppers, will be one of the best priced places to park in the city centre. The car park is safe and secure with a 24 hour CCTV system monitoring the 6-storey facility and to ensure after a long-day shopping you don't forget on which level you've parked, the car park is colour coded, uses easy to read and re-call icons and each level is named after a Welsh river!

Wheelchair Users

Facilities for wheelchair users include level floors, toilet facilities (in the Restaurant and on Levels 2,3,4 and 5) and low level counters at the Box Office, Cloakroom and Level 3 Bar. Wheelchair users plus one companion can book seats at the rear of the stalls at the lowest ticket price available, subject to availability, for the performance. Customers with walking difficulties may find that stalls seats offer the best access.

Infrared System

An infra red system is available in the auditorium (excluding Tier 5) and can be used with or without a hearing aid. Please inform Box Office staff at time of booking and full user instructions will be supplied when you arrive for the event.

Information for the Visually Impaired

Event information is available in Braille and large print formats from the desk on the ground floor of the Hall, Cardiff Central Library and Cardiff Institute for the Blind. To receive your own copy call the Marketing Department on 029 2087 8542.
