Born in Kingston, Ontario, Bryan Adams spent his early years travelling around the world with his father, who was a British diplomat. He became obsessed with music at an early age, and in an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine he admitted that, “in high school, I was far too into my music to even pay attention to girls”. By his mid-teens he had dropped out of high school and began performing in various local nightclubs with a band called Sweeney Todd who released an album with Adams performing as the lead singer. By the time he was 18 in 1978 he had signed a deal with A&M Records, although he also spent time writing songs for other artists including Kiss, Prism, Rod Stewart, Neil Diamond and Loverboy.

His debut album was in 1980, but it wasn't until his third album, Cuts Like a Knife, that he gained any mainstream notice, with the song Straight from the Heart going to number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and Cuts Like a Knife going to number 15.

Over the years, Bryan Adams has continued to write and produce music, with his 11th studio album released in March of 2008, called simply “11”. Bryan Adams tickets for his latest tour in support of “11” sold out around the world.

In addition to being one of the most influential and well known rock artists of all time, Bryan Adams is also a social activist and has his own self-titled foundation to help award educational opportunities to children around the world. He is also well known for his photography, and has had pictures published in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire and Interview Magazine. He was also heavily involved with the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, writing both the One World, One Flame theme song and the Bang the Drum song which he sung alongside Nelly Furtado at the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. He is considered the best-selling Canadian artist of all time, and his song Everything I Do, I Do It for You is one of the biggest hits of the 90s and to this day still holds the record for the longest-running number one hit in UK history, at 4 months total. While nothing is currently scheduled, he is working on a new album and fans can expect new Bryan Adams tour tickets in the near future.
