Event Info

Following a 2014 UK tour in 2014 which included a sell-out show at the Eventim Apollo in London, City and Colour will be returning in February 2016 with eight dates, including two nights at Troxy in the capital.

City and Colour is the stage name of Dallas Green, the guitarist and vocalist of Canadian band Alexisonfire, who announced earlier this year that they were reuniting in time for Reading & Leeds Festival.

The performances in February are in support of City and Colour’s brand new album, If I Should Go Before You, which is due to be released on Friday 9th October, with its lead single, Woman, having been premiered recently by Zane Lowe on Beats 1.

If I Should Go Before You was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee and is his fifth release, following 2013’s The Hurry and The Harm which received global praise, reaching no.1 on Canada’s Top 200 Chart, no.4 in Australia, no.16 in the United States and no.32 in the UK.

Fans of Green will be aware that his most recent work involved collaborating with Alecia Moore, better known as P!nk, on a brand new project called You+Me, with their debut studio album, rose ave, reaching no.1 in Canada and no.2 in Australia!

Due to City and Colour’s phenomenal reputation as a live performer, tickets sell very quickly, so make sure to get yours for February 2016.

Great Show, Impatient Crowd from JLynch, 03/02/14
I had upper balcony seats which I now know is not worth the money to see City and Colour ever again. Their performance was amazing as always, but the whole upper audience kept getting up to either go to the toilet or to the bar continuously throughout the entire performance. So it was clear to me that they were not true fans as my experience kept getting interrupted. Next time I will only get standing floor tickets if possible as that is where the real experience is. It just felt like no one around me cared and were busy snapchatting and recording the show and talking amoungst themselves rather than enjoying the music.
