James Devlin, better known by just his surname, is a British grime MC hailing from Dagenham, Essex. He got into the grime scene when he was just 15, starting out on pirate radio and then establishing himself among fellow MCs in East London. His debut album, Bud, Sweat and Beers, was released in November 2010. His debut single, Brainwashed, entered the top 40 and his follow up, Runaway, went to number 15. A collaboration with Labrinth, Let It Go, is due to be released in 2011.
