Download Festival is a three day rock music festival held annually in Derby’s Donington Park. It was created as a successor to the Monsters of Rock festival, which was held between 1980 and 1996.

Download Festival began life as a two day live music event, expanding to three days in 2005. It has won numerous awards over the years - winning Event of the Year at the Classic Rock Awards in 2009, as well as accolades from well known rock magazines Kerrang and Rock Sound.

Bands who have played at the "spiritual home of all things rock" (Donington Park, of course!) include Marilyn Manson, Iron Maiden, Audioslave, Linkin Park, Metallica, System of a Down, The Prodigy, My Chemical Romance, Kiss, Slipknot and Faith No More. This year expect incredible live festival performances from Iron Maiden, Rammstein and many more.
