London - Eventim Apollo
Fantastic gig, great venue from Doug, 17/02/15Saw Elbow for my first time, at my first visit to Hammersmith Eventim Apollo. Wont be my last time at either. The band were superb, and Guy Garveys laid back banter had the crowd in the palm of his hands. Vocally and musically superb - personal highlights were Grounds for Divorce, Lippy Kids and Sad Captain. Have seen a few great gigs over the years, and this is up in my top 3. Support act were good too, set us up for the main event rather nicely.
London - Hammersmith Appollo
You have to hand it to Elbow from Markie Mark McBee, 17/02/15Elbow were awesome. Guy Garvey is one of the best frontmen around. He has the audience captivated but with a genuine humility. To pick a best song is impossible. Favourites would be One Day Like This, indeed all the Seldom Seen Kid songs. But he rocked the oldies and drew you into the newer ones. Favourite moment had to be the audience harmonizing on One Day like a pro choir. The support, Black Rivers were a 90s Manchester Scene/Muse - esque band who thoroughly deserved there spotlight. The crowd were very respectful, not getting up for drinks and toilet breaks constantly (unlike some concerts at the Apollo)

Brilliant evening! from Jean Paffs, 17/02/15After initially losing tickets (and thank you helpful person at end of phone when I called to report loss, thankfully whilst talking to you my husband got a phone call to say a kind person had handed them in to the hotel we were staying in. What a great guy!) we got to see Elbow and had a really great evening - although Jolie Holland wasnt our thing! Tickets ordered through Eventim were once again delivered quickly, cant praise you enough folks. Will always use you if we can.
