Event Info

Award-winning jazz musician Jamie Cullum and 80s pop band Roxette have been announced as the first headliners of Greenwich Music Time in July.

Cullum rose to fame in 2003 with his album 'Twentysomething' which features his popular rendition of Pharrell Williams and Jay Z's 'Frontin'. Cullum, who been voted GQ's Man of the Year twice and has a GRAMMY, BRIT and two Golden Globe awards under his sleeves, will be closing the final night of the festivities.

Swedish duo Roxette have sold more than 75 million records since bursting onto the pop scene in 1986 with 'The Look', which was followed by the classic 'It Must Have Been Love'.

    Different Again from Spearchucker, 20/10/13
Every time I see Joe Bonamassa the set is always slightly different even if the songs are pretty much the same ones...thats not a complaint by the way. The Guitar playing was again of the highest standard, what he cant do with a Guitar probably isnt worth doing. The interesting aspect this time was more use of the keyboards to add another dimension to a number of songs while Joe moved into the background laying down the rhythm. A version of the Whos Wont Get Fooled again was truly spectacular. In my opinion Bonamassa always delivers whether it be acoustic, electric, blues or rock. If you havent seen this man yet, you need to. Cant wait for the next time.

So much better than expected!! from JD, 06/10/13
I was first introduced to Joes music by an ex work colleague maybe 6 or 7 years ago and ever since always tried to get tickets to one of his UK gigs without success (either sold out or too expensive at the time). This year however I was lucky enough to get some in the fan pre-sale for myself and my dad. Admittedly, although we both like his music we werent sure what the gig would be like - we went there expecting a good night out and that was pretty much that! How wrong was I?! I can honestly say that was one of the most amazing gigs I have been to! From the very start to the end I was completely in awe by the energy and musical genious of both Joe and the band and the dedication Joe puts into his music really shines through when you see him play live! A nice surprise to the night was a special guest brought on stage called Eilidh McKellar, a young Scottish singer / songwriter / musician who, at just 19 years old, has confirmed to me that blues / rock is far from dying!

Fantastic Concert!!! from Bob Miller, 05/10/13
This was the first time I have seen Joe live, and was not disappointed! His concert was full of energy, variety and interest, and they played non stop for 2.5 hours to a full house (no support band)! Joe is a brilliant guitarist and was accompanied by other excellent musicians and a decent light show. He played a wide variety of music, including accoustic, blues, rock and roll and funk with some fabulous extended versions of old and new songs. Although Joe is on tour so much, he stills puts everything into his concerts. I very much enjoy Joes music, and certainly hope to see him again.
