The Hammersmith Apollo is a major entertainment venue located in Hammersmith, London. Designed by Robert Cromie in Art Deco style, it opened in 1932 as the Gaumont Palace cinema, being renamed the Hammersmith Odeon in 1962. It became a Grade II listed building in 1990.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
14s and under need to be accompanied by an adult (over 18) and advised to be in the seated areas only as view may be restricted in the standing areas. Children under the age of two years are not admitted for adult shows. If the show is not specifically aimed at an adult-only audience, children of any age are admitted (14s and under need to be accompanied by an adult) providing they can sit up straight in a seat and that the parent is confident the child is well behaved enough not to be a distraction for other members of the audience.
Every customer including infants must have a purchased ticket. Accompanying adults will be asked to remove any noisy children. If any discounts are available for children the maximum age to qualify is 16 years unless specified otherwise. Where age restrictions apply customer may be asked to produce ID.
Camera Policy
The use of cameras, video and/or sound recording equipment by you is prohibited and such items may not be permitted into the Venue except with our express written consent.

I wish venues would get away from the protracted delays between support acts and headline artists... I know the intention is for the venue to maximise its food and beverage sales but the result is a boring delay for those who have driven and cannot partake in a drink or two...
I also wish venues would stop the Booking Fee rip off. What is this actually for? If its an admin charge, why does it have to be applied to each ticket on multiple ticket purchases? The Apollo is not alone in this practice....

Great gig.... Voice not quite what it was but still blows the majority out of the water to this day... Great band but the mix wasnt brilliant where we were sat at the front...

Steve Hackett (16/05/13) - Musicianship of the highest order
A simply amazing show. Not only was Hacketts guitar playing exceptional the band around him are top quality. The singer sounds more like Gabriel....than Gabriel. The drummer chips in as well. Excellent flute and soprano sax. Guest musicians Nick Kershaw and Steve Rothery. I saw cameras fliming, I cant wait for the video.
Since their is no Genesis reunion planned this is the next best thing. A memorable concert. |

The Hammersmith Apollo does not have any parking spaces and we would advise customers not to drive and park in the surrounding areas due to it being mostly residential areas and car crime being at a current high. It is possible to drop off directly outside the venue on Queen Caroline Street.
The nearest 24-hour car park is located behind the Kings Mall and accommodates 1000 cars. The car park can be entered up until 20:00 and cars can be collected anytime. Novotel London West, located 3 to 5 minutes walk from the Apollo offers great and secured car park facilities. Up to 240 bays are available on a first come first served basis.

For access requirements, you can email info@hammersmithapollo.net for more information alternatively please call 020 8563 3800 and choose option 2 The line opens at 10:00 and closes at 17:00 and operates Monday to Friday. Please note that no other query can be dealt with on this number. Alternatively, anyone coming in person when the box office is open can still buy wheelchair and ambulant tickets in the usual way.
ASSISTANCE
On the evening of an event, we advise disabled customers to arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to the doors opening for early entrance. When you arrive, staff will be available to assist you if required. Please make yourself known to the Box Office on arrival.
STEPS
There is an access ramp at the front entrance of the building or 2 steps from the street into the venue. The foyer and bar area into the auditorium is step free. The circle seating area is only accessible via steps. Unfortunately there is no lift to the circle area.
There are:
• 30 steps from the main entrance to the circle foyer.
• 10 steps from the circle foyer to circle auditorium entrance.
• 12 steps from circle auditorium entrance Row F to A.
• 39 steps from circle auditorium entrance Row G to Z and rear circle standing.
For example, if you have a seat in row F of the circle there are a total of 52 steps.
VIEWING PLATFORMS
The wheelchair viewing platform is located at the rear of the stalls and can accommodate four wheelchair users and four personal assistants per performance. Any wheelchair user that is able to transfer from their wheelchair into a stalls aisle seat are preferred to do so. As the venue can only accommodate four wheelchair users on the viewing platform it is preferred that these areas are reserved for those that are unable to transfer into a seat. Your wheelchair can then be stored at the rear of the stalls and returned by an usher at the end of the event or as and when needed.
DISABLED ACCESS TOILET
This is located at the rear of the stalls by the wheelchair access seating ramp. The Disabled Access toilet has been fitted with a RADAR lock; please bring your key with you to access the toilet. If you do not own a RADAR key, please ask the staff member who is assigned to the Disabled Access ramps for the key.
SOUND AMPLIFICATION
The venue has a hearing loop system that covers rows J-R in the Stalls, plus blocks 8,9 and 10 in the Circle. Amplification headphones and neck loops are available for a refundable deposit of £5. Please speak to Box Office staff upon arrival to collect a unit.
GUIDE DOGS
Guide dogs are welcome into the venue and our staff are happy to look after them during the performance. If you are bringing a guide dog, please call 020 8563 3806 to inform the venue in advance.
BARS
There are four bars in the stalls entrance. There are no steps from these bars to the stalls auditorium.
TRANSPORT LONDON UNDERGROUND
The nearest tube station is Hammersmith, on the District and Piccadilly lines. The tube station is located in the Broadway Shopping Centre across the road from the venue and is wheelchair accessible. The Hammersmith and City line tube station is also nearby.
BUSES
Hammersmith Bus Station is also inside the Broadway Shopping Centre and is wheelchair accessible.
PARKING
The theatre does not have any parking spaces but it is possible to drop off guests directly outside the venue on Queen Caroline Street. There are a limited number of on-street parking spaces near the venue. The nearest car park is on King Street in Hammersmith.
PARKING IN THE BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH & FULHAM
Hammersmith & Fulham Council is a dedicated participant in the European Blue Badge Scheme. As long as you display your badge and clock correctly, you can park in any shared use bay in the borough free of charge. This applies to all badge holders, not just borough residents. There are also a number of Disabled Use bays in the borough, which any Blue Badge holder can park in. Blue Badge holders can also park on a single yellow line for up to 3 hours. Please remember, you must display both your badge and clock to park in Disabled Use bays or on single yellow lines.
A Blue Badge does not entitle the holder to:
Park where there are loading restrictions. These are shown by yellow markings on the kerbstones. Signs nearby will tell you when a restriction applies.
Park across a dropped kerb. These are used by prams, wheelchairs and other pedestrians. Blocking them can cause serious difficulties to these people when they try to cross the road.
Park in front of a crossover. This is an access crossing for vehicles to drive off the road onto private land.
Park in a bay marked for other special users, for example Doctor’s bay, Market Traders bay, Motorcycle bay or Goods Vehicles only. As part of Hammersmith & Fulham council’s commitment to the Blue Badge Scheme, Penalty Charge Notices may be issued to vehicles which are parked incorrectly or appear to be misusing Blue Badges. In some circumstances, vehicles may be relocated. If you receive a penalty charge notice while displaying a Blue Badge, you have the same rights to challenge the ticket as any other motorist.
