Biography

Jack White is an American rock musician, producer, and actor.

He is best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of the rock duo The White Stripes and more recently guitarist and vocalist of The Raconteurs, and drummer and vocalist for the band The Dead Weather. White produced Loretta Lynn’s Van Lear Rose in 2004, which won them a Grammy for best country album, and an additional Grammy for best country collaboration for the song Portland Oregon.

Jack White is releasing his first solo record in 2012, the gold-certified, multiple-GRAMMY-nominated, international #1album Blunderbuss. On April 1, 2014 Jack White announced his second solo album, Lazaretto, will be released June 10, 2014. He simultaneously released the first single off the album, "High Ball Stepper."
