Marketing Assistant
Role description
The role of the Marketing Assistant is to support the team in the delivery of engaging and effective marketing campaigns, with sole responsibility for all customer service delivery across Eventim UK’s social media channels. In addition, this role will specifically assist the Graphic Designer with artwork editing/resizing, as well as coordinating content for Eventim UK’s new theatre & attractions arm.

As Marketing Assistant you will be involved in activity across a range of channels including email, social media, and website. This is a key role which will help underpin the growth of the Eventim brand by helping to expand a responsive customer base whose number one choice for tickets is Eventim.

Eventim UK, part of CTS Eventim AG & Co. KgaA is Europe’s market leader in the entertainment ticketing industry. Operating in 26 countries including the UK, over 180,000 events and 100 million tickets are sold each year by Eventim.
Key responsibilities
Responsible for all customer service queries on Eventim UK social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, specifically around event onsales.
Support the Graphic Designer with artwork editing/resizing for use across all channels (social, ECRM, website)
Co-ordinate all content for the Marketing team in regards to Eventim Theatre & Attractions, including but not limited to sourcing images/video/artwork, updating event info on the website, staying up-to-date with relevant theatre/attraction activity, and involvement in developing marketing campaigns to promote ticket sales
Working with marketing team to analyse effectiveness of all activity, deliver weekly reports and monitor general industry trends.
Day to day ad hoc support of the Marketing and Operations team
Contribution of new ideas in creative workshops
Work with the wider marketing team to help develop and explore new and exciting ways to promote events to drive ticket sales and conversion
Reporting & analysis
Skills and experience
A passion for or genuine interest in live entertainment, willingness to learn, and a positive ‘can-do‘ attitude
A working knowledge of social media channels, with an emphasis of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
Experience in a customer-facing role
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Confidence in learning new software skills, with an existing working knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Experience within the event/live entertainment/ticketing industry, with a basic understanding of an event life-cycle
Experience with artwork editing, specifically Photoshop
Experience in a customer service role
Previous marketing experience
