Leonard Cohen Travels To Hop Farm For A Day
UK exclusive spin off event in September - tickets on sale FridayLeonard Cohen will make his only UK appearance of 2012 at the new 'A Day At Hop Farm', a spin off from the annual Hop Farm Music Festival, this will be a one day event held on Saturday 8th September 2012.
Leonard Cohen recently topped the charts with his album Old Ideas and he will perform tracks from this plus all his classics in a set that is expected to last 3 hours.
The smaller scale event for 10,000 attendees will include support acts on the day. Vince Power, the Chief Executive Officer of Music Festivals plc, said, "To get the opportunity to bring Leonard Cohen to the UK for his only appearance this year is a fantastic and humbling achievement. He is one of the undisputed forefathers of modern folk music and has honed his craft for nearly half a century. We are delighted he's decided to perform for us for what will be a truly memorable experience."
Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed.
Tickets will go on sale from Friday 13th April 2012.
