Lykke Li is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Her music is a blend of pop, electro and alternative rock, with a wide variety of instruments used in the arrangements. Her debut album, Youth Novels, was released in 2008 to critical acclaim (“terrifically pure, satisfyingly primitive pop songs. Simple but sensational,” NME). Riding high on the back of recent singles Get Some and I Follow Rivers, new album Wounded Rhymes is a record dense in Li's emotional delivery. Sultry and darkened by the loss of a relationship, it's destined to be one of the most talked about pop albums of 2011. Following on from her forthcoming sell out UK tour, Lykke will play her biggest headline show to date at London's Roundhouse on November 1.
