Sylvester Stallone (19/11/14) - Stallone is a legend a true hero!!
Having been a Sylvester Stallone fan all my life, of course I had to go to see him in Manchester. I have been lucky enough to meet Mr Stallone before in my hometown of Dublin, many years ago now, I got his autograph (my biggest prized possesion) and held his hand (but was too nervous and overwhelmed to ask for a cuddle!!) So I got much closer than others, and it is one of my treasured moments. So for me just to be in the same room as him and listen to his amazing stories was all I really wanted. As all Stallone fans know the man oozes charisma and he is an extremely witty and intelligent man but the Event itself was a total shambles and I feel so sorry for the people who paid top dollar (I would have been one, if I could afford it!!) to see their hero. As others have mentioned it was the worst organised event I have ever been to. And the amount of people drunk and acting like idiots was quite frankly embarrasing, a lady (I used that term very loosely) behind me persisted in shouting your fit practically the whole way through the interview. All us ladies in the audience already knew this and I am sure Mr Stallone already knows this, so why she felt the need to tell him every 2 mins was beyond me, it got to the point where I had to tell her to shut up but sure that made no difference, it really did ruin the experience for me. She also seemed to think that she was having a one on one conversation with him and kept chipping in every time Mr Stallone spoke, so frustrating!!! Most of us were hanging on his every word and wanted to hear what he had to say but others were just downright disrespectful shouting out stupid comments and if I heard Yo Adrian once, I heard it a 1000 times, I dont know how he puts up with it but being the true gent that he is, he took all of this rubbish on the chin. The interviewer was awful, he could not control the heckling, had zero stage presense and zero charisma the absolute worst person for the job in my opinion. The long wait before Sylvester came out was frustrating and why that poor woman was put on the stage singing is beyond me, she was so out of her depth and completely out of place. I am sure everyone would have been more than happy if they showed clips from Rocky, especially the training montages, clips from Rambo and the hundreds of other movies Mr Stallone has starred in over the years, more than enough footage to keep people happy) and just think of all the great songs in the Rocky movies over the years, wouldnt that have been better than some woman, who God help her but has nothing to do with anything. His entrance was amazing, well worth the wait. I just wish that everyone there acted with a bit more respect for the greatest action movie star of all time. He was mesmorizing, still so handsome and the most charming man I have ever had the privilidge to meet. I will be a fan forever, he is THE man and did not disappoint. I just feel embarrassed that it was handled so badly. Mr Stallone we love you and on behalf of all the real fans out there, we are so sorry that some people acted so disrespectfully. I hope you come back!!! Preferable to a smaller venue with a top notch interviewer in a venue that does not sell alcohol!!!

Went by Metro but all the facilities were fine. The show was amazing and value for money. The atmosphere was fantastic. John was on form and we Laughed until we cried. Would see John again and other shows at this venue. Nothing to complain about what so ever.

John Bishop (17/11/14) - Never laughed so hard
One of the funniest events I have ever watched . Myself and my partner cried with laughter all the way through.john bisop is a comedic legend and well worth the money we paid. His put downs of the hecklers were witty and on the ball. 100 recommend watching. Cant wait for the dvd so we can re-live the laughter

The on-site multi-storey car park is run by NCP and has capacity for 958 vehicles. Although there is a fee, there is an area on the ground floor which has a number of accessible parking spaces which are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. If you are unable to secure a place on the ground floor, there is a lift inside the car park that stops on levels 3, 5, 7 and 9. Follow directions from the car park to the Box Office entrance and you will reach a set of green doors with a small flight of stairs on the other side, leading to the Arena entrance. There is also a lift to the right hand side of the doors.

Victoria Station

Access from Victoria Station (whether travelling by train or Metrolink) is possible by taking the lift located at platform 3 up to level one passing through the red doors, then following the signs to the Box Office. There are also stairs leading from the station to the Arena entrance. Alternatively, leave the station and follow directions to the Hunts Bank entrance.

Within the Arena

The Accessibility Co-Ordinator can also check the general arena for seats to suit individual needs, for example ticket availability for seats close to the stage for the visually impaired. The second raised tier of seating (BLK 201 and above) requires the negotiation of steep steps and so may not be suitable for the elderly, infirm or those with mobility problems. Seating at the front of the upper tier is 35ft (10m) from ground, rising to 70ft (20m) at the rear.

For your safety, and for those around you, we do not allow people using crutches and/or walking aids onto a standing floor. This is because, even though your friends around you could help to look after you, crowd movement on the floor is unpredictable. However, we will always endeavour to find you an accessible position within the Arena so that you can still come to the concert. For further information please contact our Accessibility Co-Ordinator on 0161 950 5229 or email
