History of the Eagles - Manchester from Cymraes93, 12/07/14
This was the sixth time I have seen the Eagles since they reformed and it is the best thing I have ever seen. From the time Don and Glenn came out and with just their acoustic guitars, to then be joined by Bernie Leadon to continue their story, and then Joe and Tim. It was so well done and they continue to be the ultimate performers and instrumentalists. And their harmony is as brilliant as ever. The were on stage for a full 3 hours (8 pm - 11. 15 pm with just a short interval). No support act and they have such charisma to match their musical ability. They dont need any gimmicks - they just walk on unannounced and it is just them and their fantastic music. I am desparately hoping that this is not going to be their last tour - talent like this is few and far between. I strongly recommend that to anyone that if you have the opportunity to see these great musicians performing live, dont hesitate to take it up. The tickets are quite pricey but well worth it if you are able to do it. Especially when you compare the cost and value for money to the untalented and arrogant artists of today.

    BRILLIANT,,nearly from Walrus09, 04/07/14
Beyond doubt one of the finest gigs I have seen at the Arena...BUT as usual your overall enjoyment is spoiled by the activities of the Staff..rude, surly and abusive people at the door checking you in..useless and incompetent bar staff.. and the security !! No words to describe these people...are they in training as prison officers... nasty nasty and nasty as well as bullying...they are employees of a private organisation not the Police. £125 plus booking fee for a ticket , £30 for a shirt £20 for a programme £4.50 for lager.. Why do these stormtroopers want to spoil my night out. I want to stand up sing and dance... Sit down or youll be ejected WTF ? I have been attending concerts for 50 plus years...if they had tried this on in the 70s or 80s they would have been ejected. Are the artists aware of this ? The sooner the organisers start to treat customers with respect and courtesy the better...but Im not holding my breath.w
