The Good, The Bad and The Queen tickets at eventim.co.uk

'Supergroup' doesn't really seem to do The Good The Bad and The Queen justice. Formed by Blur / Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn in 2006, the band's sole self-titled album was released in January 2007 to mass acclaim. Featuring Paul Simonon (The Clash), Simon Tong (The Verve / Erland and The Carnival) and iconic Nigerian percussionist Tony Allen - the album was like an old relic; filled with distant sounds, off-kilter melodies and songs drenched in a certain sadness - mourning for the England of old. One of Damon Albarn's finest moments.
