I admit I am also bemused....by the amount of disappointed reviewers of this show! I saw the boys last night in Torquay and while it was all the things that people have said - and that is advertised lets remember - I laughed more than I have done in ages. To be perfectly honest with you, if the British public cant laugh at a little bit of naughty then what has this nation come to? Its political correctness gone mental. And thats what I love about Si and Dave - not only are they great cooks, but they just say it like it is. Keep up the good work lads! -

I went to see Larger than Live at the Sunderland Empire expecting some fun and cooking. What I didnt expect was about 30 of the Show being re-run clips from the Hairy Bikers T.V. programmes. I can watch the whole of them on any night of the week on Dave or Watch or Good Food channels. What passed for humour was peurile, worthy of giggling school boys saying naughty words. I was a guest of my daughter as an anniversary present, (We are both fans of the telly programmes) if I had not been a guest, like other reviewers before me I would have walked as well. The price per ticket against what was delivered in no way represented anything like value for money. I totally agree with the other reviewers who have panned this, it was bum-clenchingly embarrassing at times. If you havent already been to see this tripe, think again. One star? Nope. -

Left at half time interval as we were sitting in middle of a row. We did not wish to disturb others, who were also sitting there totally bemused by this most terrible show. Have never been to anything so bad ever. They may have lost a good few stone in weight! BUT! Taking their clothes off on stage! Total madness ! Do not waste your money!
