The BBC Children in Need Appeal is a charity registered in England and Wales (802052) and Scotland (SC039557) whose aim is to make a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
BBC Children in Need’s vision is that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential. We will realise this vision by supporting, promoting and publicising work that addresses the challenges that children and young people face, and work that builds their skills and resilience.
BBC Children in Need are currently supporting around 2,700 projects that are working with children facing a range of disadvantages - for example, poverty and deprivation; children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect; or disabled young people.

Had such a fantastic night!! Seeing Agnitha from ABBA was such a surprise and Robbie and Gary performing with Barry Manilow was phenomenal!! The hi light had to be Jeff Lyn with mr blue sky! So many surprises!! Just wished had been able to go on the Wednesday night as well!

it was a good evening the retakes for the bbc event let it down with links to artist played on the previous days show but otherwise it was a good evening. songs from keane, bastille, tom jones, ellie goulding, passenger, tom odell, gary barlow,

Artists performed well but there was no interaction with the audience bar Kings of Leon who at least made the effort. All the others may as well have sung to an empty studio. Chris Evans doing his autocues midway through the show made it feel very much like a Studio Audience event where you get in for free so expect breaks in the show and reruns if the hosts mess up their lines BUT we were paying customers at £80 a pop so I would have expected it to have been put together like a proper cha...
