Beatbullyz are a new up and coming ‘hip-pop’ band from Swindon. Although new on the UK hiphop scene, the group have already built a huge following and fans eagerly await their debut album, as well as Beatbullyz tickets.
Beatbullyz concerts have been happening frequently, and the band first came to major attention in 2009 when they began touring more widely, thrilling fans with their energetic performances. The band’s breakthrough performance was at Radio 1’s Big Weekend where Beatbullyz managed to fill their tent to capacity; no small achievement for a brand new band on the scene. The sing-along that the band inspired in the crowd cemented the fact that Beatbullyz were a band on the rise. Their success led to the band being featured in BBC’s Best of 2009 feature. The only way is up for Britain’s newest hiphop band.
Beatbullyz built up a massive fan base in their hometown of Swindon, regularly selling out large venues. Now it is time for Beatbullyz to take their show on the road, throughout the UK and Europe on their first ever tour. The band have recently gained recognition as the support act for Example, and also for their energetic performances. The band have been praised for their individual hiphop style and original sound. They have been referred to as the UK’s answer to the Black Eyed Peas in reference to their sound and performance style, as well as Beatbullyz concerts.
Beatbullyz is made up of the following members: Daniel Dubose aka Bozo, who is the band’s main lyricist; Andrew Bullimore aka Bully, the music producer and occasional singer; Stuart Anderson aka Disco, who is the drummer for Beatbullyz; Phil Murphy aka Chilli, who has the job of being the scratch DJ Philonius funk; Alex Yeoman aka YoYo, the band’s bass player and Paul Bullimore, aka The Bear, who is the Beatbullyz’ tour manager and the sound engineer.
Beatbullyz are currently working on their debut album which is expected will be released in 2010.
