Jamie Webster (born 18 April 1994) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician known for his strong association with Liverpool F.C. Born in Liverpool, he initially worked as an electrician and performed cover songs in local pubs. His career took off when he was invited to perform Liverpool-themed songs for LFC TV.
Webster has become a key figure in Liverpool F.C.'s supporter culture, often referred to as "the semi-official musician of the football club" by The Guardian. His reworking of the Italo disco classic "L'estate sta finendo" into "Allez Allez Allez" went viral in 2018 and became the anthem for Liverpool's European successes. He has performed at significant events, including UEFA Champions League final gatherings in Kyiv and Madrid and the 2019 Champions League victory after-party.
His debut album, We Get By, released in October 2020, peaked at number 6 on the UK Albums Chart and topped the newly formed UK Official Folk Album Charts. His live album Boss also reached the top 10 in the folk charts. In 2020, Webster was named the 11th most influential Merseysider by the Liverpool Echo.
Webster's influence extends beyond music; his lyrics from "Something's Gotta Give" have been used to express political frustration. He has performed globally, including in New Delhi, and supported Liverpool band Cast. Despite missing out on Glastonbury Festival due to COVID-19 postponements, he performed there in 2022.
In 2023, his song "Weekend In Paradise" was certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). His third studio album, 10 For The People, was released in February 2024.
