Still Woozy, the brainchild of Sven Eric Gamsky, is an American singer-songwriter renowned for his captivating blend of genres and immersive soundscapes. Born on June 23, 1992, in Oakland, California, Gamsky spent his formative years in Moraga, a picturesque town nestled in the San Francisco Bay Area.

From an early age, Gamsky exhibited a passion for music, beginning to record his own compositions at the tender age of 13. His musical journey flourished as he honed his skills on the guitar, a craft he embraced during his middle school years.

Raised in a family where achievement and service were paramount, Gamsky, alongside his two older brothers, distinguished himself as an Eagle Scout, undertaking notable projects such as remodeling a garden area at Donald L. Rheem Elementary School in Moraga. Despite his achievements in scouting, Gamsky's heart remained firmly entrenched in music.

During his time at Campolindo High School, Gamsky's musical talents flourished further as he lent his skills to the band "Shoot for Roots," where he played guitar and bass. The band's success culminated in a victory at a Battle of the Bands competition, solidifying Gamsky's reputation as a musician to watch.

Post-graduation, Gamsky delved deeper into the realm of music, earning a living by teaching guitar and performing with the band Feed Me Jack at various venues. His journey led him to the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he pursued a degree in music with a classical guitar emphasis, alongside a minor in electronic music.

It was during his time at UC Santa Cruz that Gamsky's path intertwined with fellow artist Tani Kahn, a collaboration that would prove instrumental in shaping his future endeavors. Graduating in 2015, Gamsky emerged from university armed with a diverse musical arsenal and a determination to make his mark on the industry.

With his distinct sound described as "psychedelic bedroom-pop" by NME and lauded for its genre-bending nature by IQ, Still Woozy continues to captivate audiences with his innovative approach to music, cementing his status as a dynamic force in the contemporary music scene.
