EVENTIM.Fansale FAQs
How do I sell my tickets with EVENTIM.Fansale?
If your tickets are eligible for resale, you can create an offer through the latest version of the Eventim UK app or via your Eventim account online.
You can choose to list all or only some of the tickets from your order. For example, if you purchased 5 tickets, you could create separate resale offers for 2 tickets and 1 ticket, while keeping the remaining tickets.
Please note that tickets within a resale offer cannot currently be split for the buyer. For example, if you create an offer for 2 tickets, the buyer must purchase both tickets together.
Once your tickets have sold, your payout will be returned to the original payment method used for that order within 5 working days of the sale completing.
To create a resale offer:
- Log into your Eventim account
- Go to My Events (web) or Tickets (app)
- Select your event and choose Resale
- Select the ticket(s) you want to sell
- Set your price and offer duration
- Review your listing and publish your offer
Once listed, your resale offer will appear in My Resale Offers within your account.
Who and which tickets can be listed for resale on Fansale?
To list tickets for resale, you must have an Eventim UK account and hold eligible tickets purchased through Eventim.co.uk, or through FanSALE.
Only tickets delivered via Eventim Pass and TicketDirect may be eligible for resale (this may be extended to other delivery methods later on). Eligibility is determined by the event organiser, so not all Eventim Pass tickets, TicketDirect tickets, or events can be resold. The decision to use this platform for an event may change at any time.
If you do not see a Resell button on your tickets in your Eventim account, they are not currently eligible for resale. In some cases, resale is only enabled by the event organiser shortly before the event, so it may be worth checking again closer to the event date (for example, around two weeks before the event).
Please note that subscription packages and timeslot tickets cannot currently be resold.
Can a resale ticket be resold again?
Yes. Tickets purchased through FanSALE can be resold again, provided they are still eligible for resale.
If resale is enabled for the event, the current ticket holder can list the ticket for resale in their Eventim account in the same way as any other eligible ticket purchased through Eventim.co.uk.
Why is no resale option displayed for my ticket?
If you do not see a Resell button after logging into your Eventim account and selecting your order, it means your tickets are not currently eligible for resale.
This is usually because resale has not been enabled for the event or ticket type by the promoter.
In some cases, resale is only activated closer to the event date. If this applies, you may wish to check again nearer the time (for example, around two weeks before the event starts).
When will I receive payment for sold tickets?
Once your tickets have sold, your payout will be processed automatically and sent to the original payment method used to purchase the tickets.
Payments are usually completed within 5 working days, although this can vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
How long can my tickets stay listed for resale?
You can choose how long your tickets stay on sale when you create your listing, up to 12 hours before the event starts. At that point, the resale listing will automatically close and you will be notified via email.
If your tickets haven’t sold before your listing expires, the offer will close automatically and your original tickets will remain valid for use.
In some cases, resale availability may close earlier depending on the event organiser’s settings.
How do I find resale tickets?
You can find resale tickets directly on the Eventim event page. Scroll down past the main ticket options to the section labelled Resale Offers, where any available resale listings will be shown.
If a seating map view is available for that event, resale tickets may also be shown there. To view them, make sure Show Resale Offers is selected in the ticket categories. Resale seats are marked with a circular icon showing two curved arrows, rather than the standard block colour.
