10 Things You Didn't Know About Mamma Mia! The Party
1. The show was created by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus
2. It's now in its fourth sold-out year in Stockholm, playing to over 300,000 guests
3. It’s set in a taverna on the island of Skopelos, which is where most of the exterior shots of the first MAMMA! MIA film were shot
4. The food is prepared by Rhubarb Catering, who are responsible for top restaurants in New York and London, including the restaurants in London’s Sky Garden
5. Former Great British Bake Off presenter and QI host, Sandi Toksvig adapted the original Swedish script for the English edition
6. It’s an immersive theatre experience – you'll feel like you're part of the show as it happens all around you
7. The evening ends with a 1970s ABBA themed disco, when the main area is transformed into a dancefloor and you can sing and dance along to original ABBA recordings
8. The taverna is in a purpose-built venue in The O2, which makes you feel like you’re on a gorgeous Greek Island
