BY TRAIN
The Theatre Royal is a 15 minute walk from Plymouth Rail Station (sign posted through the city centre). Information on train services can be obtained from National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950 or at www.nationalrail.co.uk

BY BUS
Many Plymouth CityBus and First Western National services stop on Royal Parade. Brentonside bus station (for National Express services) is a 10 minute walk from the theatre.

We recommend that you check the road conditions before you travel. Information relating to traffic conditions and road works can be found on the BBC Travel News website.

The Theatre Royal is situated at the Derry's Cross end of Royal Parade in the city centre. There is a taxi rank opposite the theatre, alongside Derry's department store.

BY CAR
From Exeter: Leave the A38 at Marsh Mills Roundabout and follow the signs for the city centre. At Charles Cross Roundabout, (which has a bombed church in the centre), take the second exit and at the following roundabout take the third exit onto Royal Parade. Proceed to the end of Royal Parade and the Theatre is on your left. Take first exit at the roundabout for parking at the rear.

From Tavistock: Follow the signs to Plymouth city centre (A386) passing EDF and Morrisons on your left. The city centre road bears to the left after Plymouth Argyle Football Ground (Home Park). Continue following signs for the city centre. At the traffic lights, with Toys R Us on your right, turn left into Union Street and you will see the Theatre Royal across the roundabout. Take the third exit to park at the rear of the theatre.

From Cornwall: On the Devon side of the Tamar Bridge on the A38 (The Parkway), follow the signs all the way in for the city centre. At the traffic lights with Toys R Us on your right, turn left into Union Street and the Theatre Royal can be seen across the roundabout. Take the third exit for parking at the rear of the theatre.

Tariff - Pay on Foot (you can either prepay in advance or pay on exit. Some patrons of the Theatre Royal choose to pay in advance to avoid queues at the parking meters after the show).

Open Monday to Sunday 8am to 11.59pm. (Customers who are parked after midnight will be able to exit.)
