City Varieties Music Hall is situated in the heart of Leeds City Centre on Swan Street which links Briggate with Lands Lane, close to the Victoria Quarter.
We are within a pedestrianised area with heavily restricted vehicle access and the closest drop-off point would be on The Headrow.
The theatre is easily accessible by public transport. It is approximately 10 minutes walk from the main bus station and 15 minutes walk from the train station with many buses stopping in the immediate vicinity. For the most up to date information on local bus and train times, please check WYMetro.
Parking
Secure public parking is available at various nearby car parks, including The Light (via Great George Street) and the St John's and Merrion Centre shopping malls. A limited amount of on street parking is available and there are disabled badge holder spaces on The Headrow, Wormald Row and Mark Lane.
Accessibility
Following refurbishment, there is now lift access to all levels of the auditorium and wheelchair spaces are situated on each floor (subject to availability). Please contact Box Office for further information and to talk about your specific requirements.
Accessible toilets are available at Stalls and Circle levels.
Unfortunately, the audio induction loop is not currently fuctional and an alternative option to aid patrons with hearing difficulties is urgently being sought. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Guide Dogs are welcomed and a bowl of water can be provided upon request.
