Travel Information
Eastbourne is easily accessible by road or rail and is close to Gatwick International Airport and cross channel ferry ports.
Travelling in and around the town is easy with a range of bus and taxi or private hire options available.
Downlander Travelcards
Southern Railway now offers a one-day travel card for travelling across the South and South East using the major local bus and train services.
There are two types of ticket - the South Coast Downlander (£10) and the All Network Downlander for £12.50 (children aged 5-15 travel for £2.50 on either ticket).

On street pay and display parking is available around all Eastbourne Theatres. Parking is free after 6pm.

Eastbourne Theatres want everybody to enjoy their visit and offer a range of facilities for patrons with disabilities and their companions or those who might need a little extra support to attend our events.
It is helpful if you discuss your needs with the Box Office staff when booking your tickets. We can then ensure that you and your party are offered the most appropriate seats.

Essential Companion Scheme
The Essential Companion Scheme is offered to those who require a companion to assist them in accessing the facilities at Eastbourne Theatres.
The scheme offers members the opportunity to obtain one ticket, free of charge, for the Essential Companion. The primary role of the Essential Companion is to assist with mobility or guidance.
The scheme is not offered to anyone who can cope independently in a public venue, nor to those who simply require a companion to assist with transportation to Eastbourne Theatres.
