Eventim Team Picks: Our Favourite Live Events of 2025

03/12/2025 written by Emmy

Every year brings a new wave of unforgettable gigs, theatre moments, and comedy sets, and 2025 has been a stand-out year for live experiences. To try and narrow down the best of the year, we asked the people who live and breathe live events every day: the Eventim team, to choose their favourites. From intimate performances to stadium spectacles, our team have spent the year catching the shows that remind us why live entertainment matters so much.

In this blog, we share the events our team loved most in 2025. Think of it as a peek behind the scenes at the experiences that moved us, surprised us, or made us fall for an artist all over again. If you are looking for inspiration for your next night out, this is a great place to start!

Everything about Michael Kiwanuka was a highlight for me - the warm, atmospheric stage setup, vocals that somehow sounded even better than on the albums, and a room filled with genuinely good energy. What struck me most was how few phones were out; everyone was fully present. It made the whole night feel beautifully special.

Pulp at Tramlines Festival, Sheffield

Pulp's Tramlines set was incredible. It was my first time seeing them, made even more special as a hometown show. The setlist was amazing, and Jarvis Cocker’s unique stage presence made it unforgettable. If you could a bottle a feeling and keep hold of it, being at this show would be one of them.

Atreyu with Eighteen Visions at O2 Forum Kentish Town, London

A tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of Atreyu's The Curse, and Eighteen Visions' Obsession, was an incredible walk down memory lane!

Oasis was an absolutely amazing gig, made extra special because it was the last UK date in their much-anticipated tour! There was a lot of joy in the Stadium that night. Chatting to other fans and hearing stories of where they’d travelled from and how much the gig meant to them was something I haven’t witnessed on that level for any other band.

TV On The Radio gets my vote as the setlist was great - with a good mix of songs both old and new, plus the crowd were on form and the venue stunning.

Nate Bargatze is a hilarious story teller and just a really, really, really, nice guy! His show was a joy to watch.

Black Sabbath at Villa Park, Birmingham

Seeing Ozzy's final ever solo and Black Sabbath live performance, along with a full metal alumni playing Sabbath covers for over ten hours, was a life goal! Plus, we got to see the late, great Ozzy live for one last time.

Parcels at Glastonbury Festival

Parcels' Sunday set ended up being the highlight of my first Glastonbury. The sun was going down, everyone was in a good mood, and it was the perfect way to see one of my favourite bands for the first time.

Effortlessly matching the hype, Greg Davies' latest UK tour 'Full Fat Legend' delivered a show that had the room crying with laughter for the full duration! The venue was beautiful too - which is always a bonus.

Harlequins vs Saracens match at Twickenham Stadium, London

My favourite event of the year was the Harlequins vs Saracens match because it wasn’t just a great game, it was the day my brother made his senior debut! Something I’ll always be proud of and will never forget.
